CASA of Monterey County proudly announces the selection of Sara Davi to serve as Director of Development beginning Monday, August 17, 2026. In this role, she will guide all aspects of CASA’s fundraising and marketing efforts. Sara has called the Monterey Peninsula home for over ten years with her career focused on contributing to the greater good. She has extensive experience in mission driven nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and community engagement.
Most recently she served as the Deputy Director for Golden Oldies Cat Rescue after leading Max’s Helping Paws Foundation as Executive Director. Under her leadership, the Foundation expanded its impact by successfully securing grant funding, cultivating major donor relationships, and achieving fundraising goals. Additionally, Sara held leadership and marketing roles with a 24-hour Emergency Clinic in Monterey where she specialized in community relations, and program development.
Sara currently volunteers as Board President of Friends of Pacific Grove Co-op Preschool. In her free time, she enjoys exploring local parks and beaches with her husband and two young daughters.
