The need for CASA advocacy in Monterey County continues, with more than 35 children and youth currently waiting to be matched with a dedicated advocate. As we look ahead, we are also navigating anticipated state and federal funding changes that may impact up to 17% of our budget, making community support more important than ever.
It costs an average of $8,800 per year to support one child or youth with a CASA. Every dollar goes directly to advancing our mission, and every gift, no matter the size, helps ensure that more young people have a caring adult by their side.
- $25 helps offset the cost of a bike helmet
- $50 provides gas support so a youth can get to work
- $100 provides a gift card for school, work, or new housing essentials
- $500 supports Gift of Giving and other activities that bring joy back into a young person’s life
- $1,000 helps ensure a youth’s health needs do not fall through the cracks
- $2,500 provides staffing support and resources for an advocate
- $8,800 ensures one youth has a dedicated CASA for a full year
- $17,600 ensures two youth have the support of a CASA
Your support today helps us reach more children and youth who are waiting for someone to stand in their corner.
