Community Impact
At the heart of our efforts are the CASA volunteers – community members who dedicate themselves to advocating on behalf of children and youth who have been subjected to abuse, neglect, or involvement in the juvenile justice system.
Beyond the courtroom, CASAs connect youth to community resources and enrichment opportunities, helping restore a sense of stability and normalcy in their lives. The ripple effects of this work are immense – by empowering these young people, CASA of Monterey County is transforming individual lives and strengthening the entire community.
CASA of Monterey County has partnered with over 40 local businesses and organizations to support the children and youth we serve. These range from organizations including the Department of Social Services, Probation Department, and Monterey County Office of Education to the businesses that provide critical sponsorships to events, in-kind donations of bikes, school supplies, books, and more. These partnerships help raise awareness and help ensure the children we serve have the community support they need to heal.
If you want to partner with CASA of Monterey County, contact Director of Philanthropy, Susanna Wilcox, at [email protected] or 831-222-3908.
