Honoring 30 Years of Advocacy & Impact
This year marks an exciting milestone for CASA of Monterey County—30 years of advocacy, support, and empowerment for children in foster care. Since 1995, CASA has been a voice for vulnerable children, ensuring they receive the care and guidance they deserve.

Over the past 30 years, our passionate volunteers—Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs)—have been the unwavering support that children and youth in foster care desperately need. These trained community members provide a consistent, caring presence, guiding children through the complexities of the foster care and juvenile justice system, and ensuring access to education, healthcare, and vital therapeutic services.
As we reflect on three decades of transformation, we invite you to be part of this incredible journey.
30 in 30
In honor of our 30th anniversary, we launched the “30 in 30” campaign, with the goal of recruiting 30 new volunteers in 30 days for our first training session in 2025. And guess what? We hit our goal of 30 volunteers in just 30 days this January—an incredible success thanks to our amazing supporters!
Missed this campaign? No worries! You can still sign up for an info-session throughout the year. In just one session, you’ll discover how to become a CASA for a child in foster care, providing the essential support, advocacy, and care they need to thrive. This is your chance to join our mission to create brighter futures!
