In Amy’s first career, she worked 38 years in hospitality all at the now Portola Hotel and Spa. She started as the evening hostess at the Plazatree Restaurant. Then several positions and years later she landed the position of her dreams, as the Director of Catering and Conference Services. Life was good, then when the world changed during COVID-19 so did Amy’s career. After a brief return to the Portola Hotel and Spa, Amy embarked on a new career as the Accounting Manager at Central Coast Federal Credit Union. Life was once again good. She worked with great people and has made lifelong friends among the staff. In June of 2024, CCFCU merged with Wescom Central Credit Union. Now life is amazing as Amy is working mainly from home. Amy has been on the Board of Directors of the Monterey Peninsula
Chamber of Commerce, she is currently on the following Boards – Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce, Impower Women. Amy’s passion is to volunteer in the community for those who do not have a voice, Children and Animals. When not working or volunteering Amy loves spending time with her husband of 40 years, Scott, and entertaining her friends.
