Siobhan Greene’s career has centered on improving lives and strengthening communities. Her career began in the mental health field a rehabilitation therapist working with chronically mentally-ill patients and continued as a leader in growing and sustaining nonprofit organizations.
In 2002, she joined CASA of Monterey County. Under her leadership as Executive Director, CASA of Monterey County earned community recognition and a reputation of excellence with the Monterey County Superior Courts, the Department of Social Services, as well as partners serving children and youth in the foster care and juvenile justice systems. She has remained engaged with CASA since her departure in 2013.
Siobhan recently retired from her role as President/CEO of Hospice Giving Foundation, where she spent over a decade navigating complex changes and challenges in the nonprofit end-of-life field. As the local funder for end-of-life care she led Hospice Giving Foundation’s expansion of community education programs, robust grantmaking resources, and strong partnerships with local agencies and clinical providers.
After retirement Siobhan shifted to consulting, focusing on governance, executive support, leadership transitions, and board development. Through her work, she continues to inspire excellence, foster strong leadership, and build lasting partnerships that help organizations achieve their full potential. She is a 20-year member and past president of the Rotary Club of Carmel-by-the-Sea and volunteers with various community organizations.
