Bequests through Will or Trust
A bequest to CASA of Monterey County is one of the most effective and simplest ways to ensure that you commitment to provide trained, trusting CASA volunteers to foster children will continue beyond your lifetime, having a lasting impact. You may specify a specific amount or a percentage you wish to give to CASA of Monterey County.
A bequest may be right for you if:

CASA of Monterey County prefers that bequests be made for its unrestricted general purposes in its work to train and support CASA volunteer to serve foster youth. Charitable gift annuities – Income for Today, a Gift for Tomorrow
CASA of Monterey County is pleased to offer charitable gift annuities (CGAs) to our donors in partnership with the Community Foundation for Monterey County (CFMC). You make a gift of cash or stock to benefit CASA of Monterey County and receive an immediate tax deduction plus a guaranteed fixed income for life. At the end of your lifetime, the principle remaining is placed into an endowed fund at the CFMC and CASA of Monterey County receives grants from the fund in perpetuity.
Gift annuities are a win-win, offering lifetime of income for you and a generous future gift for CASA of Monterey County. The minimum amount to establish a gift annuity is $25,000.
